We are pleased to announce a new PAH analysis method specifically developed for lecithin, cocoa, and edible oils.
This method provides more accurate results for these complex matrices compared to our standard approach.
Key facts about the new method:
- Optimized for fatty and complex matrices such as lecithin, cocoa, and edible oils
- Delivers improved accuracy
- Uses GCMS/MS technology, offering higher selectivity than HPLC
- ISO 17025 compliant, but not yet accredited by RvA
- Due to the more extensive nature of this method, this is a more premium service than standard analysis.
Target compounds (PAH4)
The method focuses on the four-priority polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons commonly used as regulatory markers in food safety assessments
- Benzo(a)anthracene (BaA)
- Chrysene (CHR)
- Benzo(b)fluoranthene (BbF)
- Benzo(a)pyrene (BaP)
This method is ideal for meeting strict quality and compliance requirements for PAH-4 analysis.
